Whispering Cliffs
Three Monkeys Park, and
Canary Mines
These are the first three scenarios in the Corscrew Follies/Added Attractions expansion pack. I would have had them sooner, but I had to play through Whispering Cliffs a couple times to get the goal right because of the change in park value calculation and the complete dearth of beta testers...
Anyway go HERE to download them. Expect more soon.
Also - I updated the RCT2 version of Crumbly Woods I had made - somehow I had the goal at 20 years - I don't remember if that was intentional or not - but now it seems crazy - I dropped it to 4 years and lowered the guest total a little. You can get the new version at the same link above.
Note to moderators - please unpin the topic above and pin this one in its place. Mucho gracias...

I believe that both 8 cars per trainer and son of beast both have features allowing you to set a ride's age. You should try these, instead. (I know 8 cars does for sure).

That's what I get for not keeping up on the latest trainers...
8 cars certainly does have that feature
and to think I wasted a whole weekend running the game LOL!
PS - thanks to K-Dogg RCT2 Haunted Harbor is up and it is the way I wanted it - thanks again K-Dogg!!!

For this park I had to move the park entrance a little and adjust the Suspended Monorail to compensate for the "idiot proofing" programing that forbids game players from designating any portion of the entrance path even as "construction rights"... ... Oh well - it looks good anyway...
PS - I'll put the link here again so you don't have to scroll up: Scenarios Revisited

I have run a bunch of RCT2 parks for 20+ years while stress-testing my coasters. It has led me to the conclusion that the "small" (i.e. mice) coaster types should be demolished at about 10 years, while the "big" coasters can safely go 20 years, but don't count on much more than that.
So I suspect that if you want to duplicate the playing experience of RCT1 scenarios, the rides should not be as old as their RCT1 counterparts.

In running Haunted Harbor all weekend - I ran Woodpecker for 30+ years and it never crashed. It broke down, but the reliability rating would be as high as 40% even at 30 years old after it was fixed from a breakdown.

So I think getting ride ages are important to get right in scenario recreations. Important, but impossible to achieve using the current sets of utilities.
