Congratulations Sambo!

I really loved this park, mainly because it was one of the rare ones that carried the theme through from end to end. I enjoyed the fact that this park wasn't 'gimmicky' - it stuck to it's simple premise and I think that really made it shine. Overall a great park that I think is a lot of fun.

Too bad they made you make your own park map!

Ahh, er, I mean "I" made you make your own park map...

 but it was a nice park map...

I enjoyed reading about the park, looking at the pictures on the map and it looks like a great park Sam! I'd open it up but I finally decided to uninstall RCT3 since I can't open most of the parks anyway :(

Congratulations!

You move the park .dat file into your ...My Documents\Rct3\Parks\ folder. There should be other .dat files there as well if you have been making parks. Open the game and go to sandbox mode and select the park to open.

The hard part is installing the custom scenery (there are tutorials and discussions here), the music, and billboard images. They each go into their own special place with their own conditions. I thought it would be harder than it was - so if an old guy like me can figure it out, you should have no trouble! ;)

Let us know if you have problems, that's why were here - to help.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the park. It was probably the hardest park I have completed to date. An island theme is hard enough to carry out consistently, and I had to restrain myself at every turn from going too overboard with wild expansive rides and architecture that was too complicated for the simple theme. It is not a perfect park by any means, but I think it does have a life of it's own.

Thanks everyone. B)

I apologise for taking so long to reply to this. I enjoyed judging your park Sambo, it's a definate improvement over Ravenwood, especially in the more realistic structures. The ride layouts were good, although I'd like to have seen some block brakes used, and maybe not quite so many chain lifts. You're architechture is improving but it could be improved by subtly breaking up you roofs a bit. You are already a master of night lighting however, you did a good job there. All in all congratulations, and well done on completing another RCT 3 park!

Congrats Sambo!

I don't have RCT3 anymore, but from the map I get the impression it is a beautiful park that would certainly draw me in, a very deserved award I think.
