RCT2.com HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

In anticipation of the holidays in December, we are having a SPECIAL contest!

Contest Rules:

You must use the 17x17 workbench provided.

Happy Holidays Workbench

You cannot change the rides and scenery available to you. The park must be closed when it is sent in. Hacking and landscaping are both allowed. You may also change the entrance type, move it, own all land...whatever you got to do there...you may!

Timeline:

We want to release at least one park each day starting December 1st. Therefore, we would like at least 24 people to enter this contest.

The deadline for entries then is November 30, 2005. Please send those entries to vp@rct2.com.

You must include your forum name and the subject of email should say HOLIDAY PARK ENTRY.

Judging:

Once all the parks have been released, there will be a voting forum where all members of this site will vote for the top four entries. Once those are chosen, staff will choose the winner and the runner-ups!

I know you might have questions, so please ask away here!

I know I'm busy, but this is such a very small little map that I am very tempted to enter. It's unlikely I will, but maybe I'll whip something together. It'll probably have one of the theme's from my old Christmas park. Which I doubt anyone here remembers. :P
Maybe I'll re-release that for the holidays too.

17 x 17 ?? :))

Never thought maps that small even existed  Let alone one can seriously build anything on it. But yes, it must be possible, I just never thought of it.

However, the idea for this contest does sound great, and yes, such a small map opens perpectives even if in November I hardly have any time for RCT at all.
First trying to finish an entry for RR finals, and who knows, if I find some gaps in my schedules I can try to fill in a 17x17!. :wait:
Going to download the map now, am very curious to see that.

Oh, and btw, is there any subject/objective the entry should have, or is it just your own choice whether to make one big X-mas tree or a summer swinmming pool ou of it ??

:D

The theme is the December holidays...whatever that may be for you :)

Yes, c'mon everyone....this should take no time at all!

It's just for FUN....forum members will vote!

We need lots of entries to make this work, so get busy, shouldn't take more than a weekend at most :wait:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Of course you can build that small. :P Actually it's fun sometimes to see just how much you can fit. I mean since it's small it has to have good quality. Quantity doesn't help you in these. (Sort of  )

I'll enter. I've got a great idea for one. Sorry it's a surprize. :P

Im definatly in. Im just wondering can we make multiple entry's? As its such a small workbench and i have quite a few ideas. Is there a specified number of rides you have to have on it? Or could i not add them at all and just concentrate on scenery?
