We have our first VP Winner of 2006 and the first VP Winner in our new home RCT Space!! RCT Fusion once again is taking us on a trip, this time to a park named Mythologix! The Fusion members who helped make this trip possible are: JKay, Angel, Metropole, SixFrags, Tyandor, and X250.

Our April VP Winner is a RCT2 only park. It was a great round and we will have a RUNNER-UP announced next week!

The staff judges this round were Rohn Starr and Wabigbear, with some extra help from Todd Lee and Emergo. The member judges were ekimmel, Ultratycoon and ZeRoSkiIl. Thanks to all the judges!

No more waiting around....Let's go see what Mythologix is all about HERE!

I really enjoyed judging this park. I think the only downside of this park was it's massive (and I mean extremely massive) scale. There was a lot of unused space and I know that can work well sometimes but it didn't work for me here. Anyways congratulations on your winning park RCTF. You've worked years for it and it's paid off.

My jaw dropped open when I first opened the park. It's just massive. I didn't try to figure out the size but Metro says it's about 220. I believe it. A very ambitious project to say the least.

The open space didn't bother me. It's a large park and having areas that are only landscaped is inevitable.

From my perspective there were only 2 negatives in the park. The first was the pathing and organization of the park. If you look closely at the park it's divided into 2 sections with only a single 2-3 wide path connecting them. It would be very hard for the peeps to move around and get to all the sections.

Second was that it was started a long time ago and some of the architecture is a bit dated by RCT2 standards. Don't get me wrong -- the architecture is still very good. It's just less "Wow!" now than it would have been last year.

Everything else was very very good. The coaster layouts were all very good and were well integrated with either archy or landscaping. Each themed section was well done for its intended theme. The landscaping, including the open spaces, was also well done.

Lastly, I don't mean to get into a huge argument about this because it's a little bit of history now, but both times I had the park open for judging one of the coasters crashed. The reason it crashed was because it didn't make it up a hill just before the station. This is the reason you put lift chains going up some hills. They're for additional coaster safety -- not because of sloppy coaster design that requires them to get over hills.

Anyways, congrats to Fusion for another great park.

I don't know if anyone takes the time to read my walkthroughs or not, I hope so as it takes a lot of a time to write them, but I had talked about this very issue of a coaster crashing in a tested VP park in my review of Mythologix. Other then that I loved this park and the coaster that crashes (Han Dynasty: Fuxi's Legend) was my favorite one in the park, a really great and excellent themed coaster, laid out well and excellent stats. To see just HOW bad though that Coaster crash effected me... read the walkthrough.

I read all the walkthrough, and actually laughed out loud when i found out that jkay's coaster crashed lol, and the bit where Boomer wet-himself. :P

Glad you like the park, now that i look back on it, it is a little outdated in parts but still cool... and BIG.

What A great park!. I love the architecture and the rollercoasters are really good!. The layout of the paths are also very good and I'm glad the guests can come in and visit the park. It's really fun when they go on the rides. Overall I think this is an amazing Vacation Park and well done for the people who made it!.

That's pretty great for a club park! Two vacantions parks from the rctfusion club! I think that the best parts of the park are the egyptian area and the chinese area.

Very, very good park. It's been what?

December, January, February, March...

Four months since the last VP winner! It must have taken some time.

 Of course it did. Almost three years! I really should pay more attention to the park guide.

Great work, guys. I have a growing wonder if RCT Fusion was just created as a simple site to win the VP month after month, but then grew into something bigger.

Actually, I'm not so sure, as RCT Fusion is supposed to be a combination of two different sites, right?

Rmabling about history aside, this park is very detailed and has some of the best coasters I've ever seen!

Hmm, I liked this park and it was a worthy winner of VP but I can't help feeling the map was too large. This left me with the impression of a bare park. I feel that what was there would be better if it was compressed a bit more.
On other minor niggle is that the park feature two inverted coasters, an SLC and a B&M. This is fairly uncommon unless both inverted coaster do something different, for example a family invert and a multilooping invert, or a inverted coaster and an invertigo. Some of the areas were very nice, especially the roman area but I feel a couple were showing their age and were not quite up to the standard of some of the other areas.

Good job on the park though and congradulations on the win.
